Rich has been a shooting enthusiast since early adulthood.  He began his interest in waterfowl hunting and his interests grew to include ISSF 25 meter pistol, Service Rifle, Service Pistol, IPSC and IDPA competitions.

Rich has been involved in International competition since 1988 and has competed not only in the U.S.A, but also in Canada and England. He has participated in the IPSC North American Championships, the Canadian Steel Challenge and was a Range Safety Officer, Officiating in the World Police and Fire Games.

He currently is a member of USPSA and IDPA

He Maintains Certified Instructor credentials for the following Training Organizations: MCRGO, NRA and USCCA. He is a Graduate of the Front Sight Academy Defensive Pistol program.

He teaches courses on: Firearms safety, basic pistol skills, firearms safety in the home, personal protection,  concealed carry and Coaches on advanced pistol craft.
